BLOFIELD TENNIS CLUB
Blofield Tennis Club (BTC) was founded in 1920 and is registered with the Lawn Tennis Association. It is situated at the Recreation Grounds of The Margaret Harker Hall, Yarmouth Road, Blofield.
BTC is a members club and playing opportunities exist for all standards from social friendly to match play. The Club offers excellent facilities including:
- 4 superb newly-refurbished grass courts from May to September.
- Hard court available all year.
- Professional tennis coach.
- Ladies summer tennis afternoons on Mondays.
- Summer mixed social club afternoons/nights on Tuesday afternoons, Thursday evenings (Friday if wet) and Saturday afternoons (except when tournaments are held).
- Junior summer club afternoons on Fridays run by a coach.
- 2 mixed LTA summer league teams (both Div 2).
- 1 mixed LTA winter league team.
- 2 ladies Norwich City League teams (both Div 2).
- 2 mens Norwich City League Teams (Div 2 & 3).
- Pavilion with toilet, kitchen and changing facilities.
- Courts available every day of the week.
- American Tournaments on Saturday afternoons in the summer.
- Social fundraising events throughout the year.
BTC is also the ideal venue for players (both senior and junior) to obtain excellent grass court practice for the regional summer grass court tournaments without having to travel too far.
